How to Register for Access to McKesson’s For Customers Web Site
McKesson’s For Customers Web site offers executive messages, company news, detailed product support information, product education course offerings, and resources such as white papers and release overviews. For Customers also provides a link to SAGE, which enables customers to open support cases online or access information about their cases that have been already logged.
To register for an account:
1. Point your browser to https://infosolutions.mckesson.com/customer.
2. Click on “Sign up now!”
3. Select Customer and click Next.
4. Enter your organization’s McKesson-assigned SAP customer number and its corresponding ZIP code and click Next. You can obtain your customer number from your CIO (or equivalent). It is included on all McKesson billing statements and invoices.
5. The registration screen displays for you to complete your user profile. At this time you will set up your user name and password. Before submitting your user profile, doublecheck your e-mail address to be sure it is your valid Internet e-mail address. If you forget your user name and password, this address is used to send you the login information.
6. Click Create New Account. If you have entered all information correctly, the For Customers site displays.
If you want to change your password or other information in your profile, select the “My Profile” option at the top of For Customers screens.

CCHIT Appoints McKesson's Mike Kappel to Board of Commissioners
The Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT) has named Mike Kappel, senior vice president, Government and Industry Relations, McKesson Technology Solutions, as one of 11 newly appointed commissioners to serve a two-year term (beginning in October) on the agency's 21-member board. The board oversees certification criteria developed by voluntary work groups, provides strategic direction and ensures the objectivity and credibility of CCHIT. The Commission consists of at least two representatives each from the provider, payor and vendor stakeholder groups. Read the press release, or visit the CCHIT Web site.
