2010 AHA–McKesson Quest for Quality Prize Winners Announced
At the 2010 American Hospital Association (AHA) Leadership Summit, Andrew Mellin, M.D., vice president, McKesson Provider Technologies, congratulated this year's AHA-McKesson Quest for Quality® Prize honorees. This prestigious award recognizes leadership and innovation in quality, safety and commitment to patient care. McLeod Regional Medical Center (Florence, S.C.) received top honors and $50,000. Henry Ford Hospital and Health Network (Detroit, Mich.) was the finalist; and Queens Hospital Center (Jamaica, N.Y.) received the Citation of Merit.
