Steps for Submitting a New CSE

CSEs you've discussed (This will be blank until you participate in a discussion phase)

CSEs you have drafted, but not yet submitted

Choose the appropriate SIG and fill out title, Enhancement Summary, Business Issue/Need, Recommended Solution (these are all mandatory fields).

Select "Preview" to view your CSE before submissions.

Select "Save as Draft" if you wish to save your CSE and finish entering the information at a later date.

Select "Submit" if you are finished entering the information and wish to submit your CSE.
At this point all CSEs will be reviewed and categorized for the Discussion Phase by your SIG Leaders and McKesson Liaisons. For a list of possible categories and explanations, click here. You will be notified via email of the Discussion Phases opening for all SIGs. You will be able to access the discussion area from the email or you can access the discussion via the InSight web.
Steps for Discussing CSEs:

In the Enhancement Forums on your
Dashboard page select "
CSE Discussion Area"

Select the appropriate SIG

Chose the CSE you would like to discuss from the list

Review the discussion thread by scrolling down

Click "Reply" to post a comment
Steps to view all CSEs open for Dicussion:
In the Enhancement Forums on your Dashboard page select "Search for CSE"
Choose search criteria: CSE#, Keyword, SIG, Status (In Discussion), Category, Created By, Created Date, or Discussion Phase Dates.
The search CSE function can be used for all CSEx, not only those in discussion. If you click on "Discuss" for a CSE not in the Discussion Phase it will be noted as 'Locked'.
At the close of the Discussion Phase the SIG Leaders and McKesson Liasions will review the discussion thread and determine the final categorizations. These CSE will then be posted with final categorizations and explanations.
Solicitation for necessary CAG members will begin at this point.
