Kelly McLendon will examine the myriad of changing regulations the US and Canadian healthcare professionals are subject to on a daily basis. The recent influx of privacy and meaningful regulations and the constant complexity Canada requires are a perfect backdrop for the theme of the InSight 2010 Annual Conference; Education, Collaboration and Organization. Mr. McLendon’s presentation will mix wry observations and a bit of humor from a different perspective; that of a health information manager who understands legalities and broad brushed compliance. The session will explore how the changes healthcare is undergoing present a fine opportunity for professional leadership and growth along with illustrations on how the road to success may be embarked upon.
