#10 – Fuel. 130 education sessions and product updates gave you the information you need to keep your operations running smoothly.
#9 – Teamwork. 232 MTS employees contributed to the success of the event by working in the Product Solution Center, presenting education sessions and interacting with attendees.
# 8 – Victory Lap. Six theater sessions featured customers highlighting their partnership with MTS, including these products and services: McKesson Patient Visibility, McKesson Performance Analytics™, McKesson Patient Folder™ Mobile Media Capture, McKesson Managed Services and CMIO Services.
#7 – Secrets to Success. Retired Oakland Athletics hurler Jim Mecir shared his lessons learned in overcoming adversity to reach your potential. Portrayed in the movie "Moneyball," Mecir made it to the Big Leagues despite being born with a club foot and cites confidence, adaptability and resiliency as the three keys to avoiding failure.
#6 – Fan Favorite. Juliet Funt, founder and CEO of WhiteSpace at Work, captivated everyone with stories, video clips and instructions on how to reclaim the "white space" or strategic pauses missing in our over-scheduled, multitasking workdays.
#5 – VIP Box. 92 chief information officers (CIOs) representing 60 organizations attended the CIO Forum, an event designed by CIOs to share best practices and strategies among their health care executive peers.
#4 – Driver's Briefing. Pat Blake, executive vice president and group president, McKesson Corporation, moderated an executive panel that provided perspectives in areas such as patient engagement, innovation and the importance of "getting it right" for you. One CMIO reported, "After the one-hour opening session, I already had all the answers I needed to my critical questions."
#3 – Racing Strategy. Blake also outlined what it will take to win health care's next race including analytics, managing risk and connecting communities.
#2 – Excitement. Everyone felt it with a fast pace of networking, collaboration, direction and a forum for feedback.
#1 – Pit Crew. The "My Three Words" video was a hit. "Bug free software," "Meet meaningful use" and "Customers always first" were just a few of the three words MTS employees used to describe what they are doing to help you rally to win.
