An InSight Success Story
Greetings!
Everyone has success stories they have witnessed first hand at their organizations. All you have to do is ask a colleague to share one, and you see an immediate reaction from them of excitement in being able to tell you about it. Most of these successes started out as a simple idea that required teamwork to allow for it to grow into something more complex and innovative. And that is what is so exciting. People dedicating their time and energy to what at first might only be notes on a piece of paper, and seeing it to completion where it exists as something that benefits so many more is the greatest aspect about working in a team.
This brings me to the InSight Enhancement Task Force, a team that deserves so much credit for revitalizing this aspect of InSight. In July 2004 the initial discussion surrounding the Enhancements overhaul began – just as an idea that seemed at times very daunting. But there were great people working on this, and they were dedicated to improving InSight. We now have a new process in place, and I cannot wait to see how far reaching it can be. Everyone that helped out deserves congratulation and they should feel proud.
And so, I would like to recognize the following people for the effort they have contributed:
- Pat Sciarini, Regional Medical Center, Madisonville, KY
- Rex Overton, Health Partners, St. Paul, MN
- Eileen Donnelly, Solaris Health System, Edison, NJ
- Jim Cramer, Scottsdale Healthcare, Scottsdale, AZ
- Lois Kenworthy, Crawford Long Hospital, Atlanta, GA
- Jacque Brodt-Suggs, Atlantic Health System, Morristown, NJ
- Lisa Owens, Spartanburg Regional Health System, Spartanburg, SC
- Dale Rayner, Capital Health, Halifax, NS Canada
- Kathy Brantley, McKesson Provider Technologies, Alpharetta, GA
- Sonja Baro, McKesson Provider Technologies, Alpharetta, GA
- Neil Aaronson, McKesson Provider Technologies, Alpharetta, GA
- Megan Price, InSight HQ, Chicago, IL
While all of the team members deserve our thanks, I want to especially thank Pat Sciarini. Pat has been involved from its beginning and I know she has spent hours upon hours working on this project.
I am confident that with time the new enhancement process will further enhance the value of InSight to our members. I look forward to seeing all of them in Nashville at the 2006 InSight Annual Conference from September 13-16. And hopefully, you’ll be there to congratulate them as well!
I look forward to meeting you in Nashville!
