Using Your SIG to Stay Ahead

Greetings!

It is no secret that success comes through hard work, dedication and learning from others around you.  Maintaining that success requires staying abreast of industry changes, being able to adapt and once again, learning from others around you.  InSight is sensitive to our members’ desire to raise their value in the eyes of their organizations and gain the personal and professional satisfaction that comes through achieving success.  Which is why I want to encourage you to take advantage of the various Special Interest Groups (SIGs) affiliated with InSight.

NOW is a great time to utilize the newly redesigned and enhanced InSight Discussion Forums.  Through these forums you can engage in discussions with other members and users of  McKesson product users just like you.  The forums allow you to share success stories, exchange best practice tips and above all find out how other users are dealing with an issue.  As the old saying goes, “no need to reinvent the wheel” and the discussion forms can give you the information to save you hours of your valuable time. 

All that is required is your login and password to gain access to the forums.  Respond to ongoing thread discussions, create your own or contact members directly – this is a fantastic tool for sharing information.  Best of all, you can participate in as many SIG discussions as you like!

With the 2006 Annual Conference fast approaching SIG participation is a great way to begin thinking what sessions you’d like to participate in, who you’d like to meet face-to-face to exchange ideas and discuss challenges, and expand your network.  Whether it is via the Member Directory or the Discussion Forums I encourage you to reach out to other InSight members.  That is what we are here for – you are InSight!  We support one another, and wish to see continued success in all our careers.
