Greetings,
If you are like me, you can relate to how the month of August has flown by. As the kids are heading back to school, the weather is changing, and we’re knocking on September’s door, I’ve realized we’re just a few short weeks away from the InSight 2008 Annual Conference this September 24-27.
I want to thank everyone who has already secured their registration for this valuable once-a-year event. On behalf of the InSight Board, we look forward to meeting with you.
If you have still not registered, I encourage you to do what it takes to get here. As a resource, use the ROI justification form to aid you in presenting the value of attending this conference. The InSight 2008 Annual Conference hosts more than 300 educational sessions and 50 exhibiting companies featuring more than 100 products. This is definitely an event you don’t want to miss.
While InSight has the tools to keep members connected year-round with Discussion Forums and the upcoming searchable membership directory, there is really no replacement for face-to-face interaction with your peers and McKesson representatives in both educational and networking arenas. You also get first-hand knowledge of the future direction of Insight with Board and Committee leadership available to respond to your needs. You may even consider a volunteer opportunity!
The Education Committee has done a tremendous job in putting together an education program at the InSight Annual Conference that is second to none. We thank all of the members who have graciously volunteered their time and effort to present their stories and experiences. I believe that these education sessions are one of the best ways to better utilize your own products or help you make a decision on a future purchase.
This year’s conference is sure to provide the fulfilling experience we’ve come to expect at InSight, both in terms of unmatched education and access to peers and McKesson as well as the lighter side with networking events like Friday Night Lights. Please take the opportunity to connect with peers you may only get to see once a year and also build new relationships by attending the Insight 2008 Annual Conference.
Again, I encourage those to register that have not done so and join the rest of us this September in Grapevine, Texas.
Sincerely,
Janet Stanek
InSight 2008 President
