President's Message - June 2007

Greetings,

With the growth of McKesson comes the evolvement of InSight, and from that support and growth of our profession and industry. 

As you all know, the InSight 2007 Annual Conference is fast approaching and there is no better representation of our continued growth and sharing than this event.  October will be here sooner than you know and once again members will be able to exchange information and knowledge in a way that’s unparalleled in our industry.  The success of past conferences is a benchmark for future conferences and I have no doubt this year’s will not only meet, but exceed expectations.  It is truly a sight to watch various SIGs, CIOs, clinicians, IT professionals and physicians sharing best practices, dialoging about what works and what doesn’t, and learning about future developments in McKesson software solutions. 

With the pre-conference workshops, educational sessions, the Product Solutions Center and networking receptions, the 2007 InSight Annual Conference is guaranteed to be an invaluable experience for all InSight Members.  We will get the opportunity to once again meet face-to-face on current issues, collectively answer one another’s questions, and get relevant feedback on ways to create efficiencies, strategize and best implement our current products, while factoring future products into our plans.

I’m excited about the upcoming conference and how it represents InSight’s continued success.  Although our Annual Conference is just a piece of what makes this organization truly valuable, it’s always a great way to end the year.  I look forward to reconnecting with friends and peers I’ve built over time, but also to establishing new relationships for 2008 and beyond.

With online registration now open, I hope you all have your calendars marked for October 17-20 and are excited as I am about getting together once again.
