President's Message - July 2007

Greetings,

It is amazing how times flies. July is coming to a close, and the InSight 2007 Annual Conference will be here before we know it in October.

InSight staff and volunteers have worked tirelessly to provide you even more access to McKesson product representatives, opportunities to collaborate and share thoughts and ideas with peers, and more than 300 educational sessions that will give you best practices, tools and year-round connections to help you thrive in your business and profession.

Our customer-driven educational sessions, networking events, keynote presentations and product support solutions create the ultimate learning experience for all of us. Without a doubt, the information you’re looking for is at this event, and now regardless of your interests or needs, InSight provides a number of options to help you maximize your time so that you’re bringing back holistic solutions your teams can immediately apply to your business.

InSight is constantly evolving to keep our members, and community, ahead of the curve. New programs and content have been incorporated into this year’s event to provide additional value to current members while attracting new members to ultimately grow our community. 

For the second year in a row, the CIO Forum at the InSight 2007 Annual Conference will run from Wednesday, October 17 through Thursday, October 18.  This unique program designed specifically for CIOs, by CIOs, offers top IT executives access to one another and to McKesson leaders for the betterment of their businesses and professions. 
The CIO Forum is designed to deliver true best practices from peers that have applied or are about to apply strategies within their own environments. 

Even more so in 2007, the event brings McKesson top leaders into the fold so that attendees can stay current and tapped into the direction of McKesson, allowing participants of the event to better leverage the technology investments in their organizations.
 
Once again, I look forward to what is expected to be a milestone event for InSight.  I hope to see you all there.
