Mid-Summer Update - From the President

With the first day of summer now under our belt, it seems that our busy schedules have all finally kicked into high gear. It is hard to keep track of our personal appointments, accomplishments and successes, let alone those of our colleagues. However, I want to take a few minutes to reflect over the past few weeks at InSight Headquarters and highlight some of the major accomplishments we have fulfilled as an association.

Recently, you received word from InSight Headquarters, regarding the final slate of candidates for the upcoming Board election. I personally encourage each of you to utilize your InSight "voice" and participate in this year's voting process. This is one of the many ways that your membership provides you with the opportunity to influence the direction of our organization.

Another accomplishment has been the launch of our online registration tool. We are thrilled to provide this easy-to-use Internet tool in an effort to make your registration process less cumbersome. Additionally, I am always excited to see which members I will be able to speak with at the conference.

For those of you who might not already know, this year's conference is being held from September 22-24 in McKesson territory - bustling Atlanta! Last year's conference was truly a monumental success, and I can hardly wait to share with you the exciting plans that the Conference Planning Committee has in store for you in 2005. With an average of 3,000 McKesson product users connecting in one common space, this year's event is one you can not afford to miss.
