Embedding Clinical Decision Support in HEO iForms to Meet Regulatory and Best Practice Standards
The primary focus of this presentation will be on Clinical Decision Support. The speakers will discuss how Clinical Decision Support can be embedded in the HEO order entry process and iforms through the use of order awareness, java script,.vgr code and entrance checking. The y will explain how this is done to assure core measures, regulatory compliance and best practice standards are met.
By attending this webinar attendees will be able to:
• Demonstrate standard use of order awareness to automate order management (Example: Urethral Catheter Placement and Removal iForm)
• Demonstrate innovative use of order awareness to place and hold orders in a ready state until the patient meets clinical criteria for order activation (Example: Severe Sepsis Protocol iForm)
• Target specific patient populations with customized HEO orders workflow to meet regulatory standards (Example: Patient Type iForm)
