What do you hope attendees take away from the presentation?
Be able to describe and use product-related enhancements in the areas of Revenue Cycle and General Financial applications.

Can you share one highlight from the presentation for those who won’t be able to attend?
How much impact Meaningful Use requirements had on the financial side of the house - it isn’t just the clinical applications that needed to change.

Where does your expertise lie?
Revenue cycle. I have over 35 years of experience including 17 years in an acute care facility and 15 years at McKesson. Prior years included employment at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico.

What pieces of advice would you give to first-time InSight365 Annual Conference attendees?
Meet and network with as many people as you can. Our customers have some very strong relationships. Attendees should seek out people in their current position as well as those in positions they aspire to obtain.

How do you take advantage of the InSight community? What do you personally believe are the benefits of joining and attending the annual conference?
This is a great place to get input from other facilities, especially during the scheduled SIG calls. There are often process issues that come up during the enhancements discussion. A customer will put one in and folks will jump in and suggest the processes they have in place and often the enhancement is not even needed. It is also a great place to discuss challenges around regulatory changes and how folks are approaching testing for compliance.

Any additional comments?
I have been attending these conferences for a very long time. I attended them when I was a McKesson customer and now that I work for them. I have never once attended and not got valuable education and made new networking contacts.
