Dedication and Diligence Within InSight Membership - From the President

The need for a user group like InSight has never been greater. In part, we owe our thanks to the late Tom Utley for creating this great organization. As I mentioned last month, it was with Tom's passion and dedication to his profession that this user group was born. In his honor, the Tom Utley Member Achievement Award was formed to celebrate our sincere and ongoing appreciation for his efforts annually.

Tom Utley Member Achievement Award: Nominations Now Being Accepted!

Nominate a deserving member for the prestigious Tom Utley Member Achievement Award. For those of you who don't know, Tom was a former CIO at Merritt-Peralta Medical Center in Palo Alto, California. Essentially, InSight was formed in 1998 because of his dedication and commitment. The Tom Utley Member Achievement Award was created in his memory, honoring his many contributions to this user group.

Nominations for the Tom Utley Achievement Award are accepted on a continuous basis with a July 1 deadline. The goal of the Tom Utley Achievement Award is to recognize those who lead by example. Any InSight volunteer, with the exception of current officers, directors, affiliates, consultants, members of the award committee and previous recipients, are eligible.

The recipient will receive a complimentary InSight membership for one year, free registration to the next annual conference and an engraved plaque in their honor.

If you know a deserving InSight member who demonstrates passion and dedication to InSight, like Tom did, we encourage you to nominate them today!

New Membership Profile and Directory on InSight Web Site

InSight has implemented new software, eSeries, which directly links our online directory to our membership database. Members can now obtain quality, real-time information through the online membership directory, as well as use various new fields to search for membership information. In addition, members are now able to update their own information through their online member profile. Please visit InSight online to view your profile today!

McKesson Customer Discussion Forums allows you to network with both members and non-members of InSight. Here, you are able to post questions and provide answers to your colleagues as well as network with others. Annual Conference Registration Update

Registration for the 2005 InSight Annual Conference Begins Monday

Take the first step toward attending the 2005 InSight Annual Conference by registering online beginning on Monday, May 16. Join more than 3,000 McKesson products users September 22-24 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta for three days of education, networking and product demonstrations. Look for an e-mail with the registration link on Monday, or visit the InSight home page.

Be sure to take advantage of early registration fees by registering on or before July 6 - you'll save $250 off the full registration fee!

"Five for $2,500" Discount Offers Additional Savings

Save you and your organization $295 per attendee by registering with four or your colleagues through the "Five for $2,500" group discount. You must register in groups of five and before July 6 to receive this special discount. Look for more details when you register for the conference beginning on Monday.
