Hello Brian Jones! Here is what is happening.
From the President

One of my goals as InSight President is to maintain operational transparency between the membership and the Board of Directors. Simply put, I want you to have a very clear understanding of the new initiatives being introduced in 2007 and the challenges that our organization must overcome. This also means keeping you well up-to-date on the 2007 Strategic Plan.

Last month, I had the pleasure of attending the Board of Directors’ retreat in Broomfield, Colorado. During this time significant progress was made establishing our Strategic Plan and I would like to share with you some of the ideas discussed. First, InSight is well aware of our challenges. We are facing the challenge that all user groups endure: membership growth.

InSight and the McKesson Integration Advisory Council

While integration has always been a top priority at McKesson, the company has taken it to the next level by establishing a central integration group that works across all product management and operations teams in McKesson Provider Technologies (MPT). To give customers a greater voice in integration priorities and to educate them on McKesson’s integration direction, the group has established an Integration Advisory Council (IAC) to validate and prioritize integration projects. The Council comprises a variety of customers including many large, multi-facility customers that license multiple McKesson products which provides a valuable perspective for improving product integration.

InSight is happy to announce a joined partnership with the McKesson Integration Advisory Council (IAC). All CSEs (Customer Satisfaction Enhancements) categorized as ‘Integration Issues’ by InSight SIG Volunteers are sent to the IAC for review. From the last Enhancement cycle, eight CSEs marked as ‘Integration Issues’ are being addressed by the IAC with the cooperation of InSight. If you are a current InSight member and would like to take part in a focus group, please fill out and submit an Agreement to Serve Form. InSight is very excited about this new partnership and the new value it brings to its membership. Please contact InSight HQ with questions.
