The Road to Success: Education, Collaboration and Optimization
The InSight 2010 Annual Conference brought more than 1,700 InSight members and McKesson leaders together for four days of networking, exhibits and education at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado on September 14-17, 2010. With a focus on Meaningful Use and the integration and optimization of McKesson products, the InSight Annual Conference continues to be the leading event for McKesson users to drive success to their business and career.
At the InSight 2010 Annual Conference. attendees met face-to-face with industry professionals, experienced first-hand demonstrations of the latest innovations in software and technology and had the opportunity to choose from hundreds of customized education sessions for all users in the McKesson community. More than 1,700 healthcare professionals were in attendance.

A record number of 99 CIOs and top IT professionals gathered to meet at the CIO Forum.

InSight President George Vallillee kicked off the conference with his speech at the Opening General Session. During his presentation, George gave an overview of InSight, the healthcare industry and conference program highlights, and spoke to new initiatives occurring in the near future.

Member Achievement Award recipients were Jackie Thomas, Executive Assistant in Administration at Southlake Regional Health Centre, and Lyn Shoquist, System Coordinator in Patient Fiscal Services at Allegiance Health.

The SIG Volunteer of the Year Award Winners were Casey Messenger from Methodist Medical Center of Illinois (Enhancements Award Winner) and Amy Easterling from St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital (Education Award Winner).

Attendees had the opportunity to choose from more than 275 education sessions.

More than 180 vendors featured hundreds of the latest products and services in the Product Solution Center (PSC).
